Message from Our Principal

Welcome!  I am Mr. Allen, principal of LCMS.  I have a Bachelor in Engineering Technology, Masters in CTE, and Rank I in Educational Leadership.   I have taught Engineering Technology, Project Lead the Way, Media Technology, and Technology Concepts at the high school level.  I taught for nine years and spring 2013, I was the Interim Principal for Foster Meade CTC.  For 2016-17, I was the assistant principal at LCMS.  Also, I worked two years as a Assistant District Technology Coordinator for Lewis County.  I have learned a lot about the current technology used in the district.  I have worked several different jobs on my path to teaching.  I did not begin teaching until I was 30, if I had one regret in life it would be that I did not begin teaching sooner.  I have really enjoyed it to this point and wish that I would have done this sooner.

Student achievement is the focus through challenging instruction within a positive culture.  The students, teachers and parents that walk through our doors everyday are truly the best our community has to offer.  The goal of every educational stakeholder is to develop an educational foundation for their future; to create college and career ready citizens.  I believe that Lewis County Middle School is the best school in the area where students are challenged and exceed the expectations set before them. I am truly honored to serve this school as principal and look forward to meeting everyone!
