Lewis County Middle School serves grades 7-8 with an approximate student enrollment of 350.  The mission statement of LCMS is “to build a community of lifetime learners”.  Our goal is to educate students toward being college and career ready.  We guarantee a dedication to the students' education and a caring environment for the school family.  We view education as a cooperative effort among teachers, students, parents, and community.

Lewis County (Vanceburg) is located in the Northern Kentucky River Region, approximately 90 miles northeast of Lexington, 90 miles southeast of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 60 miles west of Huntington, West Virginia.  Founded in 1806, Lewis County is named for Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis & Clark expedition.  For more information about Lewis County, see Lewis County Links on this page.
