Message from our Principal, Mr. Kidwell

Entering my first year as Principal of Lewis County Middle School, I embrace the current and future challenges facing our students and community as a whole.  It is my opinion that the middle school years are critical in ensuring that students of the Lewis County community make both the social and academic transition that is essential in their success in this increasingly competitive world.

With the academic and social challenges that are associated with the middle school age group, all stakeholders (students, parents, and all involved in the educational process) can rest assured that a safe and conducive learning environment will be constantly improved upon and maintained.

Together, with the dedication to task of the Lewis County Middle School faculty, students, parents, and greater community, we must collectively pledge to equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to not only survive, but strive, in the ever changing world that lies ahead.  By “building a community of lifelong learners,” we can enable our children to not only have successful personal lives, but improve our greater community as well.
